What a long strange trip it's been!

Postby Ninjapest » Wed Nov 11, 2009 1:00 am

With the close of yesterday and the opening of tomorrow, the emergence of Avalerion is complete as we are now a whole year old! Although both Avalerion and the Stormrage community have changed quite drastically from what it was a year ago, our core values remain the same, a high quality of raiding in a short time span, hence our casual-hardcore approach to raiding.

We have achieved alot in our rather modest 13 hours a week of raiding, and alot of progress to boot, having never aimed as high as our current progression level that we hold, only being blessed this by gratuitous circumstance to ourselves and the falling of others, we early on ascertained that this was ours to be had if we survived the Alliance drought and exodus of summer 2009 on Stormrage.

Although alot of faces have come and gone since our inception in November of last year, our core faces stay the same, having not really changed all that much only gaining more to call our own.

So with a quick trip back to the place we were born, i leave you with this fond picture of past and present, and a big thank you to all our current, ex, retiree, raiders, and members that have made what Avalerion is today!

A big congratulations and have a happy birthday, on behalf of the Management! :)

Yup , a big thx for the pet ! :)

A very nice way to celebrate the anneversary , but a less nice bit is that Ava dropped from 4th place to 6th , and been passed by 1 Horde & 1 Alliance guild. :(

But think back 1 year , 2 good , but worn out guilds merging to a super-bunch & racing up the charts from ~15th place to 4th as best , so far .

That is really good work from all involved.

A HUGE GRATZ LADIES & GENTLEMEN ! ( and Kno too  )

Thumbs up to all officers, raid leaders, mentors (and guildies) for turning up night after night and putting a hell of a lot of effort in to get us where we are :)
